ICL FDP20 - Year 2000 Compliance


Year 2000 Compliance Statement for the FDP20

The FDP20e passbook printer is Year 2000 compliant in accordance with the DISC PD2000-1 Document definition of year 2000 compliance, subject to any limitations contained in the Product Description for the FDP20e.

In its commercial dealings, ICL defines Year 2000 compliance as below:

"Year 2000 compliant" means that neither the performance nor the functionality of the equipment will be affected by dates prior to, during or after the Year 2000, and in particular:

Bullet point No value for current date will cause any interruption in operation.
Bullet point Date based functionality will behave consistently for dates prior to, during and after year 2000.
Bullet point In all interfaces and data storage, the century in any date will be specified either explicitly or by unambiguous algorithms or inferencing rules.
Bullet point Year 2000 will be recognised as a leap year.

This compliance statement will be subject to the limitations, if any, contained in the Year 2000 Compliance Section of the Product Description for the equipment. The Year 2000 Compliance Section is provided where it is necessary to provide a technical description of how compliance is achieved and any limitation thereto.
